“Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ.”
Philippians 1:8

We were blessed to have over 250 women come to the Shores March 5-7 for our annual Women’s Conference. It was a blast getting to see women of all stages of life eat together, laugh together, and worship the Lord together.

Cindy Hawks, a DTS graduate who is married to the pastor of Hill Country Bible Church in Austin, was our speaker for the weekend. Cindy did an incredible job using visuals and humor to preach truth from the scripture about living a life that matters for eternity. I heard many stories of women going home different because of something the Lord taught them through Cindy. Please enjoy these audio recordings from the conference:

We also had three amazing women lead breakout sessions on a variety of topics including unrealistic expectations, parenting kids with technology, and putting the pieces of life back together after hardship happens. Here are the links:

Christina Jontra – “Navigating Technology” (download)
Christy Gore – “Life is Puzzling” (download)

Carrie Langemeier will be our Keynote speaker next year. Carrie speaks the truth boldly and passionately lives it out in her own life and I am excited that she is coming to share that with us!

Over the weekend, we were able to spend time together doing all sorts of different activities like Ziplining, Bible Journaling, Hiking, Horseback Riding, Massages, and much more. Check out all of the pictures from the weekend!
