Twas the night before Winterfest, when all through the camp
The Timbers staff was working; bumping the lamp
The Christmas lights were hung on the cabins with care,
In hopes that the campers soon would be there;
The summer staff were driving from near and afar,
Recovering from finals by blasting Tedashii in their car;
And Guaps with his crew all ready to go,
Trying to figure out a way to make it snow.
When out on the dock there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my bunk to see what was the matter.
Away to the field I flew like a flash,
But stopped on my way to pick up some trash. (Holy Spirit Conviction)
“Now, BRICKHOUSE! now, BAWESOME! now, TBA and SPO-CLO!
On, UNOBROW! on DONKEY PONG! on, HAIKUS and SNO-FLO!
To the top of thunder peak! to the end of the plateau!
Now dash away! dash away! to work you all go!”
And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the dock
The shouts of each one, ready to rock.
As I saw them up there beginning to prance,
The Wobble came on and they started to dance.
They spoke not a word, but went straight to their work,
Filling camp with Christmas cheer, while wearing a smirk,
But I heard them exclaim, before they pranced out of sight,
HAPPY WINTERFEST TO ALL, AND TO ALL A GOOD-NIGHT!
