Summer 2023 Family Camp Devotional Preview

Families! 

Summer is on the horizon and we are so excited to see you all soon! We are praying for each of you as you enter into the Spring and finish up the school year. We are also preparing our camps, staff, and program for an incredible Christ centered, others focused, and seriously fun summer! 

The theme for this summer is TRUTH, based off John 17:17, which says,

“Sanctify them in the truth, Your word is truth.” 

We all love a good story, whether we read it in a book or watch it in a movie. How much more of an impact does it have on us when we realize the beloved story is actually true? Well, this is exactly what we have before us in God’s word. His story, His spoken word, His TRUTH. In a world struggling to know who or what they can trust, we believe there is still a reliable, trustworthy, valuable truth found in the Word of God. Let us fight to stop changing the TRUTH and instead let the TRUTH keep changing us. 

This summer we will explore five important things we can do individually and as a family while looking to the truth of God’s Word. 

Monday – Know His Word

Tuesday – Trust His Word

Wednesday – Value His Word

Thursday – Hide His Word in your heart

Friday – Live out His Word 

As we dig deeply into His word this week we pray His truth will transform your family, your marriage, your kids, your own personal heart, and in turn the world around us. Our hope is that He would continue the process of sanctifying us by His truth, and His truth being His word. We’re ready for an incredible summer together and can’t wait to see you soon!
