MomLife Bootcamp

As a ministry, it is always a blessing to partner with like-minded organizations. For the second year in a row, the Shores and Bluffs camps partnered with FamilyLife’s MomLife Today on April 12-14 to host one of Pine Cove’s most unique events, MomLife Weekend!

Since 2008, MomLife Today’s mission has been to “live MomLife together, to encourage, equip, and offer help and hope! We don’t have it all figured out, but we know the One who does!”

And as we say at Pine Cove, our mission is “to be used by God to transform the lives of people for His purpose and glory.”

So, take about 250 moms, add some fun camp games, sprinkle in a few Pine Cove cheers, toss in a lot of Biblical application from the MomLife Today speakers, mix it around and you’ve got an incredible MomLife Weekend!

Starting on Friday night, all of the Moms gathered in the Shores Gym to fellowship, worship, play games, win prizes, and start the weekend off right. The Founder and Executive Director of MomLife, Tracey Eyster, joined one of our Pine Cove staffers on stage to emcee and host the weekend. And when you pair a fun, passionate mom with a crazy, energetic Pine Cove staffer, you never know what will happen!

Each session of the weekend featured a different speaker with a different topic relevant to the life of a mom today. MomLife Today’s speakers, Barbara Rainey, Dannah Gresh, and Tracey led the Moms in sessions focused on Biblical truth and how they can grow and apply it to their own individual families.

Whenever you come to Pine Cove, you will surely be greeted with creative, fun, and engaging games. And this weekend did not disappoint! From free camp shirts and hats to MomLife Today resources, the Moms left with more in their suitcase than when they arrived. We even gave away six spots to youth camp this summer!

We are blessed with partnerships like MomLife Today and we can’t wait for next year! There are already some fun ideas in store for 2014…

We are thankful that Mom’s left encouraged, equipped, and transformed by the One who can for His purpose and glory!
