Important 2022 Registration Dates

It’s hard to believe Summer 2022 is almost over, but that means one very cool thing: now we can start planning for Summer 2023! There are a lot of super important registration dates and information to know, so we put them all in one place so it’s all easy to find. Bonus: we also included references to Christmas, fajitas, paper chains, and more, so what are you waiting for? Let’s go!

Pre-Registration Ends: August 16

You likely were automatically pre-registered for next summer if you came to camp in 2022, but just in case you weren’t, August 16th will be the last day to save your 2023 spot!

Start Switching Sessions: August 17

Are you currently registered for a week of 2023 summer camp that’s just not going to work with your schedule? No problem! Starting August 17th you can jump out of your week and into another one—as long as there’s enough space. Just log into your account or give us a call and we’ll get that taken care of for you!

Family campers can begin switching sessions on August 16th.

National Fajita Day: August 18

Can you hear that sizzling already? National Fajita Day is coming up on August 18th, and we know you won’t want to miss it! So as long as you’re marking important dates on your calendar, we recommend also making a note of this tasty holiday.

Overnight Youth Camp Registration Opens: August 19

This is the big one! If you or a friend is looking to sign up for 2023 youth camp at Pine Cove, this is the day to do it. There are three main advantages to snagging your youth camp spot as soon as possible: 1) Many weeks of camp fill up super fast, and we know you don’t want to end up on a waiting list. 2) The sooner you register for camp, the more spread out your payment plan can be! Who doesn’t love breaking up their payment plans into the smallest chunks possible? 3) Signing up for camp almost a year out? Four words: longest. Paper chain. Ever.

Begin Submitting Cabin Friend Requests: August 19

Whether you come to camp with a friend or you plan on rockin’ it by yourself, you’re sure to make SO MANY NEW FRIENDS! But if you do have a buddy and you’d like to make sure you’re in the same cabin together, you can make that request starting August 19th. Adding friends to your group is super easy, but here’s a how-to video if you need some help.

Winterfest Registration Opens: August 19

Who, us? Getting the Christmas decorations out of the attic early? Baking sugar cookies shaped like snowflakes? Writing this paragraph to the festive crooning of Michael Buble? Um, ABSOLUTELY. We love Christmas around here, and we’ll love it even more if you come and join us for Winterfest the weekend of December 16th-18th for Winterfest! Our camp teams can’t wait to welcome 1st-12th grade campers for all the fun of a week of camp stuffed into one weekend with plenty of Christmas cheer sprinkled on top. Registration opens on August 19th, so grab your Santa hat or reindeer antlers and get ready to save your spot!

Family Camp Registration Opens: August 25

Yoohoo! Families! If you’d like to snag a spot at the Bluffs, Woods, Crier Creek, or Chimney Point next summer, August 25th is the day you’re gonna want to circle on your calendar! You can call us to register starting at 8:30am CST, but here are three things to know before you do: 1) our phone lines will likely be pretty full, so please be patient! 2) Many of our Summer 2022 families have already signed up to come back next summer, so there is limited availability. 3) If #2 just made you nervous, don’t worry: many families each summer DO make it off the waiting list, so hang in there!

While family camp registrations can only be made over the phone, you can help make the process smoother by creating an account in our online registration system and adding all attendees before the 25th.

Pine Cove City Registration Opens: February 2023

We can’t wait to hit the road next May to bring Pine Cove to your neighborhood! And where exactly will we be heading?
